By the end of the course, participants will:

  • Understand mental health and the most common mental health challenges
  • Recognize and address workplace stress
  • Reduce stigma and start positive, helpful conversations about mental health
  • Increase personal and workplace wellness

The course is delivered through ten interactive online modules. Each lesson features opportunities for personal reflection, downloadable resources for in-person learning, and an open forum for discussion.  'Mental Health 101' is one of two parts to Level 1 of the Workplace CARE Certificate for the Community Social Services sector.
